Making Waves: A Path to Community Building & Higher Education MUCH LOVE TO MAKING WAVES! On this "coast" I was able to learn, grow and work! I assisted some of the graduates featured below in "SUCCESS STORIES" with tutoring and/or their college application and financial aid processes. I LOVE THIS PROGRAM, THE STUDENTS, PARENTS AND STAFF! May the support services for families, schools and communities continue in one form or another for many more years to come:

"Making Waves was founded more than 24 years ago when an investment fund manager worked with a local pastor in one of the most underserved cities in California to offer low-income students the same academic and developmental supports that families in the nation's most affluent communities enjoy." - @"About Us: About Making Waves" "Making Waves sets the gold standard in best practices for educating young people from low-income backgrounds. It is a model for raising achievement and attainment for less advantaged students that needs to be implemented in hundreds of communities nationwide."
